Contributions to professorships of Italian language

Requests for contributions dedicated to the creation and operation of Italian professorships at foreign educational institutions for the 2021 financial year are now being accepted.

The recipients of ministerial funds are non-university foreign educational institutions, in which one or more Italian professorships are to be activated or are already active. The contributions may also be requested to support the award of scholarships and the organisation of language trips in favour of those who have successfully attended courses in Italian language and Italian culture abroad. With this, the Ministry aims to promote the teaching of Italian abroad and attractiveness of our language. A new ministerial decree contains the criteria for the evaluation and allocation of contributions (in Italian):

The necessary forms are available at the local diplomatic missions or consular posts.

The deadline for applications for contributions toItalian professorships is set for 27 March 2021.
