On 30 November at 11.30 am the press conference for the presentation of the 17th edition of Contemporary Art Day, the major initiative organized by AMACI (Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums) which is dedicated to the latest artistic endeavours in our country, will be streamed. The initiative is realized with the support of the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity at the Ministry of Culture and with the collaboration of the General Directorate for the Promotion of the Country System of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

AMACI President Lorenzo Giusti, the General Director of Contemporary Creativity Onofrio Cutaia and the Deputy General Director and Central Director for the Promotion of Italian Language and Culture Cecilia Piccioni will be present. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is supporting the initiative by organizing for the fourth year in a row the event ‘Giornata del Contemporaneo – Italian Contemporary Art’, a set of meetings, exhibitions and events to be held at the diplomatic-consular network and the Italian Cultural Institutes. In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will also participate in Contemporary Art Day in Italy: in fact, an extraordinary exhibition of the Farnesina Collection is planned with some events related to this year’s theme, namely the performative in art.

During the press conference, the main activities organized by the AMACI network, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will be presented. To attend the press conference you must make a reservation at this link  by noon on 29 November.
