Italian archaeological, anthropological, ethnological missions abroad – Call 2023 for the request for contributions

The strategic objectives of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation include the promotion of Italian culture, which is also implemented through the provision of grants to Italian archaeological, anthropological and ethnological missions abroad. The provision of grants takes place annually through the publication of a call, which regulates the submission of requests, the selection of applicants and the reporting of the expenses borne.

For 2022, 246 missions were supported through the provision of grants (211) or institutional recognition.

The procedure for requesting contributions for this activity has been updated for 2023 and is described in the call available on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.

Requests are submitted via the Archeology portal by January 25, 2023, 6 pm (Italian time).
