Scholarships ‘Invest your Talent in Italy’
- Opportunity for: young talent from the selected countries
The programme ‘Invest Your Talent in Italy’ provides students from some foreign countries with 9-month scholarships for post-graduate courses (Master’s degree or specialization courses) in Italy in Engineering, Design/Architecture, Economics/Management, followed by an internship with an Italian company that has already started or is about to launch an internationalization project.
This provides young talent from the selected countries with experience in academic and corporate training, demonstrating the effectiveness of a working model based on the collaboration between institutions, universities and businesses. This integrated promotion not only to enhances academic and entrepreneurial excellence but also builds privileged links with strategic countries for our production system.
In addition, the programme aims to provide Italian businesses with an operational tool to support internationalization through the opportunity of taking on foreign talent from markets of interest, who have been trained in Italy and are specialised in their operating sectors. It is an excellent example of integrated promotion, insofar as it promotes simultaneously the Italian offering in terms of education and culture and the economic opportunities in our country.
The Technical Committee Invest Your Talent in Italy includes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (which is also the creator), the Italian Trade & Investment Agency (Agenzia ICE) and Uni-Italia, with the support of Confindustria and Unioncamere.
The countries currently included in the Programme are: Azerbaijan, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Mexico, People’s Republic of China, Tunisia, Turkey and Vietnam.
Each year, the Technical Committee may revise the list of countries, especially in light of the priority countries indicated by the Internationalization Steering Committee.
For the edition of the academic year 2020-2021, 857 applications we received, among which 31 winners were chosen.
