‘Gioco Inedito 2021– Miglior Proposta di Gioco’ (Best New Game Proposal), an international contest for emerging game designers, organised by  Lucca Comics&Games , together with dV Giochi,  this year in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has officially ended.

The theme chosen by the organization was Italian contemporary art and, in particular, the Collezione Farnesina. The winning prototype will in fact become an original tool learning about and exploring the contemporary art collection held at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which includes masterpieces by Italian 20th century masters such as Marini, Campigli, Accardi, Perilli, Vedova, Pistoletto and Chia, among many others.

Since 1993, the competition Gioco Inedito has selected the best game from the prototypes received, which is then rewarded with professional, high-quality publication directly by the cV Giochi publishing house. We are therefore delighted to present the three finalist prototypes of this year’s competition:

• ‘Il Curatore’ (The Curator) by Luca Rosa
• ‘Falso d’autore’ (Master Forgery) by Diego Pignatta
• ‘CiaoArt – Collezione Farnesina’ by Andrea Ruggeri

The competition also seeks to promote emerging talent in graphics and art with the Prize for Best Artwork, which this year is awarded to ‘AR5′ by Andrea Corti and Luca Brambilla, with graphics by Carola Corti and Alessandra Facchin.

Finally, the Honorary Chairperson and the winner of Gioco Inedito 2021 will be announced in September.
