Interview with Gaudiano in Rio de Janeiro

Italian singer-songwriter Luca Gaudiano, winner of the Sanremo Festival 2021 in the Newcomers category, is taking part in an online meeting which is being organized by the Italian Cultural Institute of Rio de Janeiro, in collaboration with the Ponte entre Culturas organization and promoted by the magazine Comunità italiana.
At Sanremo Giovani, Gaudiano performed the single ‘Polvere da Sparo’, a song inspired by the loss of his father who introduced him to music by giving him a guitar for his fifteenth birthday. A song with deep lyrics and a light melody with which Gaudiano expresses his anger, rejection and loneliness in the face of grief, along with a constellation of extraordinarily vivid memories, which capture the deepest sense of a relationship between father and son.
