The relationship between contemporary art and games is the key focus of an event at the Comics&Games space of the Feltrinelli bookshop in Piazza Piemonte in Milan, organized by Collezione Farnesina and Lucca Crea. During the event a conversation will be held between Paolo Cavinato – eclectic artist whose research is carried out through various techniques and languages, featured in the Collezione Farnesina with “Continuous City #11” – Hjalmar Hach – lead designer at the Horrible Guild studio and contemporary music composer – Angela Tecce – art historian, member of the scientific Committee of Collezione Farnesina and recently appointed chairman of Donnaregina Foundation for contemporary arts – and Lorenzo Fantoni, La Stampa journalist and event moderator.

After an introduction to the collection and a focus on some works by Tecce, Cavinato and Hach will encourage a lively interdisciplinary exchange on the relationship between the game world and that of contemporary art. The broad issues in discussion will include the representation of space in art and in games, the role of individual subjectivity and the relationship with the contemporary.

The video of the event is available on the Lucca Crea Facebook Page.

In addition, the winner of the Lucca Comics&Games “Gioco inedito 2021” competition, which this year features Collezione Farnesina as its main focus, will be selected.
