On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the Italian Cultural Institute of Sydney and Italian Cultural Institute of Toronto present the short film ’25 November’ by Emilia Persenico.
The film will be available on the Cultural Institutes’ YouTube channels starting from November 25.
The director, who over the years has artistically interpreted the phenomenon of violence and abuse suffered by women, deals on this occasion with two central themes of her work: the home and the body. In this video, men and women talk to each other inside a house whose deep rooms are the silent witnesses of fear and silence.
