The Italian Cultural Institute of Lyon, in collaboration with the Université Catholique de Lyon, presents a journey into beauty amid the masterpieces of Italian art through an exhibition bringing together 31 masterpieces by great Italian painters including Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio, Botticelli, Titian, Sofonisba Anguissola, Lavinia Fontana and Artemisia Gentileschi.

Though the originals are scattered across dozens of museums in different cities around the world, this exhibition features 1:1 scale reproductions, produced in exceptionally high definition and gently backlit.

The exhibition will be open to the public at the Université Catholique de Lyon from Wednesday 16 February to Thursday 31 March.
