The Italian Cultural Institute of Montevideo, in collaboration with the association ‘Marchigiani nel Mondo – Uruguay Section’, is organising a conference by Professor Antonella Agostinis with the title of ‘The city of Urbino: splendours of an Italian Renaissance court’ for the 15th of June.
The event, which will be on the six-hundredth anniversary Lof the birth of Federico da Montefeltro (Lord of Urbino from 1444 to 1482), will takes us on a journey to discover the city’s main monuments and artists, the historic centre of which was recognised in 1998 as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The conference will be available on the Italian Cultural Institute of Montevideo YouTube Channel from June 16th onwards.
Professor Antonella Agostinis has been a School Director at the Italian Embassy in Montevideo since 2016. She has published numerous articles on the themes of dissemination and teaching of Italian language across the world.
