The ‘Dantedì Competition‘ ended with two schools on the winner’s podium, identified by the Jury’s evaluation process on 31 May. The initiative, promoted by the Consulate General of Italy in Paris in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute, was organized by the Paris Committee of the Dante Alighieri Society and recorded a wide and qualified participation of the Consular District’s schools and institutes.

The winners of the Lycée and Collège categories – the Lycée ‘Marguerite de Flandre’ in Gondecourt, Académie de Lille and the Collège ‘Les Hauts Grillets’ in Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Académie de Versailles – will be rewarded with a trip to Ravenna, where, in collaboration with the Municipality, the students will participate as readers in ‘L’ora che volge il desio’, a reading of the Divine Comedy which will take place in front of Dante’s Tomb, and other initiatives planned for the 700th anniversary of the poet’s death.

The award ceremony will take place on 25 June at 11:00 (local time) at the Italian Consulate General in Paris, and will be broadcasted live on ‘Dante sept cents’, the Facebook page of the Italian diplomatic network in France.
