From 27 to 31 July 2021, Zagreb will host Motovun Film Festival, one of the most popular cultural events in Croatia and the best known film festival in Central and Eastern Europe.
The Italian Cultural Institute of Zagreb is participating in the 2021 edition with a selection of contemporary Italian films.
Programme
- ‘The Truffle Hunters’ (2020): directed by Michael Dweck and Gregory Kershaw; produced by Luca Guadagnino.
- ‘The Predators’ (2020): directed by Pietro Castellitto. Two families from different social backgrounds meet in the Roman metropolitan jungle: a contemporary social picture with an amusing and grotesque tone.
- ‘Padrenostro’ (2020): directed by Claudio Noce. The story of two young boys and the summer when they discover the violence of adults and the strength of friendship.
- ‘Assandira’ (2020): directed by Salvatore Mereu (in the presence of the director). A Sardinian shepherd embarks on a new business venture but an accidentally ruins everything.
