On January 26th Donatella Di Pietrantonio, author of the acclaimed “A Girl Returned”, will present her new novel “A Sister’s Story” at the Italian Cultural Institute in London together with translator Ann Goldstein. The conference will be available in streaming.
Published in English by Europa Editions UK, “Borgo Sud” revisits the places and characters of “A Girl Returned” with a story focused on the the ambivalent, ambiguous, wavering but steadfast relationship between sisters.
Donatella Di Pietrantonio is the author of three novels, including “A Girl Returned”, winner of the Campiello Prize. She lives in Penne, Abruzzo, where she works as a pediatric dentist.
Ann Goldstein is an editor and translator from Italian, best known for translating the works of Elena Ferrante.
