The Italian Cultural Institute of Paris presents an event on the writer, journalist and translator Luciano Bianciardi on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of his birth. The anniversary has also provided an opportunity to publish Bianciardi’s novel ‘L’integrazione’, with a preface by Mario Barenghi, in the ‘Cahiers de l’Hôtel de Galliffet’ series.
The evening to commemorate Bianciardi will be held on 28 February at the Cultural Institute and will open with a screening of the film ‘It’s a Hard Life‘ by Carlo Lizzani, an adaptation of the writer’s novel of the same name. After the film, there will be a discussion with Mario Barenghi (University of Milan Bicocca), Christophe Mileschi (Université Paris X Nanterre) and Paolo Grossi (director of the Cahiers de Hôtel de Galliffet).
