The second of the ‘Dante Lessons’, a cycle organized by the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, the CITER and the CECC of the Portuguese Catholic University, the Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, with the support of the Embassy of Italy in Portugal and the Italian Cultural Institute of Lisbon, will bring together the Argentine writer Alberto Manguel (Buenos Aires, 1948) and Pablo Maurette, (Buenos Aires, 1979), writer and professor of English literature at the Florida State University, in a conversation dedicated to the relationship between language and poetry.

The event will inaugurate the XXI Week of the Italian Language in Lisbon, dedicated this year to ‘Dante, l’italiano‘.
