The Italian Cultural Institute of Bratislava presents an interview with Pavol Paňák, one of the most influential designers in Slovakia and the Czech Republic: the architect will discuss the work of Aldo Rossi, to whom an important retrospective has been dedicated at the Slovak National Museum in Bratislava, with material from the Fondazione Rossi in Milan and the Alessi Museum in Omegna.
Paňak, a graduate of the STU Faculty of Architecture in Bratislava, designed, among other things, the Slovak National Theatre and the Slovak National Bank, to this day one of the most prominent buildings in the capital. Aldo Rossi was one of the main sources of inspiration for his work as an architect.
The event will also be streamed on the institute’s Facebook page and on the YouTube channel, starting from the beginning of December 2021.
