In Hong Kong, theatre is a cultured and funny way of practicing a language. On June 17, students of the Italian Cultural Institute of Hong Kong drama course will be staging their final year drama performance at the Hong Kong Arts Centre.
They will present extracts from the famous work ‘We Won’t Pay! We Won’t Pay!’ written in 1974 by the Italian Nobel prize for literature, Dario Fo.
The play is a political farce about consumer backlash against high prices.
The event is free of charge, booking is required.
