To celebrate the 100th anniversary of James Joyce’s novel Ulysses, the Italian photographer Leo Pellegatta and the French composer Nicol Faer present the installation ‘And yes I said yes I will Yes’ at the Center Culturel Irelandis and the Italian Cultural Institute of Paris.

The photographs evoke the wanderings of inner life. An imaginary and enigmatic journey that also portrays some of the places marked by the presence of the Irish writer, particularly Trieste, where the author composed the first chapters of his masterpiece and where he lived for many years.

The musical composition evokes the crossing of the sea by the mythical hero of the Odyssey and his initiatory journey into the unknown. It pays tribute to Joyce’s musical sensibility in his use of language and the author’s fascination with the element of water.
