Balkan Festival of Italian Comics kicks off in Sremski Karlovci

The Italian Cultural Institute of Belgrade presents the Balkan Festival of Italian Comics from 12 to 21 July at the Cultural Centre “Artistic Laboratory of Sremski Karlovci”, organised by the Association “Obnovljena zajednica Novi Sad” with the support of the City of Novi Sad.

The Festival aims to illustrate the mutual cultural influences between the Italian and Serbian schools of comics through the works of seven authors with different artistic languages – Anna Lazzarini, Giampiero Casertano, Pasquale Del Vecchio, Darko Perović, Bane Kerac, Stevan Subić and Gradimir Smuda. The programme includes a group exhibition, a conference and screenings.
