On the occasion of Italian Design Day 2021 (8 July 2021), the Italian Cultural Institutes of Rio de Janeiro and San Paolo organize the online conversation “Tra Brasile e Italia: prospettive e esperienze del Design” (Between Brazil and Italy: Design Perspectives and Experiences).
The Italian designer Zanini de Zanine and Marco Sammicheli, superintendent of the Museum of Italian Design – Triennale Milano, discuss with Professor Graziela Nivoloni (Istituto Europeo del Design) the latest trend of contemporary design, focusing on the journey from raw material to product, and from artisan craftmanship to the digital universe.
The meeting, which will be broadcast live on the Institute of Rio’s YouTube channel, is organized with the institutional support of the Embassy of Italy in Brasilia, and in collaboration with the European Institute of Design (IED) and with the participation of the 27th Congress of the International Union of Architects.
