On the occasion of the celebrations for the 700-year anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri, the Italian Cultural Institute in Bogotá and the Italian Embassy in Colombia promote from 22 to 25 March “Vive Dante. Un viaje al cosmos del sumo poeta”.
Over four days, we will see four exclusive documentaries on the Divina Commedia created thanks to the collaboration of the Colombian scholar Nelson Osorio, historian and art curator, and the outstanding contribution of three renowned Colombian writers:
- Santiago Gamboa, winner of the literary awards La Otra Orilla, Literatura del Caribe and Coup de Coeur;
- Humberto Ballesteros, writer and university lecturer;
- Carolina Sanín, lecturer at Perdue University in New York and the University of Los Andes
who will guide us on the journey through Inferno, Purgatory and Paradise.
