On the occasion of the XVII Contemporary Art Day, the Italian Cultural Institute of Bogotá organizes in collaboration with the Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá (Mambo) the conference ‘Gian Maria Tosatti e il Padiglione Italia alla 59. Biennale di Venezia‘, with Eugenio Viola, chief curator of Mambo and curator of the Italian Pavilion for the Biennale 2022.
The 59th edition of the prestigious event will take place in April 2022. For the first time, the Italian Pavilion will be represented by a single artist, Gian Maria Tosatti, whose project, presented by Eugenio Viola, was chosen by the Minister of Culture Dario Franceschini from a shortlist of ten candidates.
The conference, in Spanish, will be held on Friday 10 December at the Mambo and will be broadcast live on Facebook on the Institute’s page.
