‘The conceptual choice of manual skills in certain respects reconnects [Beccaria’s work] to movements like Fiber Art, or to other artists who, from the 1960s to the present day, have seen the potential of textiles as mode of communication which is full of possibilities. However, in reality, her work keeps its distance from labels and movements, exhibiting considerable originality and strength of purpose’ – Silvana Nota
