As part of the 17th edition of Contemporary Art Day, the Italian Cultural Institute of Pretoria and the Luigi Di Sarro Centre are organizing a webinar to discover and discuss video art, starting from the experience of the VAA – Video Art Awards, which is launching its third edition in Italy and South Africa on this occasion.
The appointment with the speakers is on 8 December, and will be a chance to find out about the participants of the two previous editions of the award. The works of the 20 artists involved will be visible in the video sector of the webinar and will be discussed by Angelo Capasso, Simone Azzoni, Laura Vincenti and Alessandra Atti di Sarro with the winning artists of the VAA: Luca Coclite, Jabu Nadia Newman and Niccolò Masini.
The meeting will be opened with a message from the Italian Ambassador to South Africa, Paolo Cuculi.
