The Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Chicago, are presenting two events to mark the occasion of Contemporary Art Day 2021. From Monday 6 to Saturday 11 December 2021, this event, organized by the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums (AMACI), will also involve the diplomatic-consular network of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The programme includes two online conversations about art and performance, which is the theme of the 2021 edition of the Day.
- 7 December: ‘NTF Politics and Poetics‘: an online presentation on the Zoom platform with curators Valentino Catricalà, Domenico Quaranta and the digital sculptor Auriea Harvey.
- ‘Dis-connect: engaging with distance in performance art‘.
