The Italian Cultural Institute of Zurich once again supports and takes part in this year’s prestigious Cully Jazz Festival, now in its 59th edition.
The performances scheduled include, on 26 August 2021, two big names in the Italian jazz scene: Stefano Di Battista and Luciano Biondini.
Programme
- ‘Morricone Stories’: Stefano Di Battista returns with a project dedicated to the great composer Ennio Morricone. With ‘Morricone Stories’ (2021), the saxophonist pays homage to an inspiring man, with innovative reinterpretations of his most significant and famous tracks.
- Andreas Schaerer & Luciano Biondini: charismatic Swiss singer and beatboxer Andreas Schaerer joins the ardent lyricism of Mediterranean accordionist Luciano Biondini to create a sensual and virtuous synergy. The two musicians, geniuses of improvisation, open a poetic dialogue and propose newly arranged original compositions with a varied and fascinating repertoire.
