Dante conferences in Berlin and Dresden.

To mark the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante Alighieri, the Italien-Zentrum in Dresden, in collaboration with the Italienzentrum of the Freie Universität in Berlin, is organising a series of online conferences during the 2021 summer semester. Renowned international scholars will be looking at Dante’s life and works from different points of view.

The lectures at the Freie Universität in Berlin will deal with literary studies on Dante, while the speakers invited to the Technische Universität in Dresden will be focusing on Dante’s significance in linguistics.

The Italien-Zentrum in Dresden is a cooperation project between the Technische Universität di Dresda and the Italian Cultural Institute of Berlin.
