On March 17 the Italian Cultural Institute of Zurich is holding a meeting with the writer Martina Mengoni at the Volkshaus in Zurich.
Martina Mengoni is an expert on Primo Levi, on whom she has published various essays, including ‘Primo Levi e i tedeschi‘ (Einaudi, 2017) (Primo Levi and the Germans). Her most recent publication is entitled ‘I sommersi e i salvati di Primo Levi. Storia di un libro‘ (Quodlibet, 2021) (The Drowned and the Saved by Primo Levi: History of a Book). She is currently an assistant to the Institute of Italian Language and Literature at the University of Bern and collaborates with the Centro Studi Primo Levi in Turin.
Pictures representing concentration camps and Holocaust Museums of the photographer Lino Sprizzi will be projected during the meeting.
