As part of the celebrations for the 700th anniversary of the death of Dante, the Italian Cultural Institute in Paris presents the exhibition ‘Drawing Dante’: from 23 June to 16 July, there will be on display works by 12 illustrators invited to create a piece that expresses Dante’s work and thought.
Alongside these creations, the exhibition also offers a tour of the most famous adaptations of Dante’s poem in comics and the works by Giovanni Robustelli, resident artist at the Institute in March 2021.
The exhibition, curated by Claudio Curcio and Matteo Stefanelli, is organised in collaboration with Comicon and with the support of Banca Monte dei Paschi.
