After opening in Bucharest and China, young Italian illustration continues to travel around the world. In November 2021, two stops for the exhibition ‘Eccellenze italiane‘, which takes the creative genius of young Italian children’s book illustrators around the world.
The Italian Cultural Institute of Amsterdam inaugurates the Dutch event on 10 November. The exhibition will also feature illustration workshops held by Irene Penazzi (13 November) and Chiara Ficarelli (17 November).
- 13 November: Workshop ‘Nel mio giardino il mondo. Laboratorio di disegni volanti’.
- 17 November: Workshop ‘Un ascensore tutto mio’.
The exhibition, open until 26 November, is organized with the support of Sgrunf Kids Box.
From 19 November to 4 December 2021, the Italian Cultural Institute of Tunis will welcome the exhibition and the young Italian illustrators, bringing the year to a close with imagination and creative frivolity. The translation into Arabic of the texts, by the Institute of Culture of Tunis, will allow the Tunisian public to better appreciate the initiative.
‘Eccellenze italiane’ is an original project by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Bologna Children’s Book Fair/Bologna Fiere and the Emilia-Romagna Regional Authority, curated by Accademia Drosselmeier/Cooperativa Giannino Stoppani.
