The Italian Cultural Institute of Kiev is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibition, in an expanded version, ‘Il Centenario. Fellini nel Mondo’, conceived and curated by Alessandro Nicosia and Vincenzo Mollica on the occasion of Fellini’s centenary.
The exhibition, actively supported by the Italian Embassy in Kiev, the Film Centre and the Molodist Festival, focuses in an original and engaging way on the extraordinary personality and artistic journey of Federico Fellini, a genius of world cinema, well-known and appreciated in Ukraine. The director’s undisputed talent emerges in the images of him giving directions on set, in the interviews that reveal his extraordinary passion for the seventh art, but also the human side of the maestro, in his drawings dedicated to friends, to those who worked with him and in his love letters to Giulietta Masina. Filmography is the background of the exhibition, depicted through set photos, documents, costumes, posters and memorabilia.
