From 20 May to 13 June, the Winzavod in Moscow hosts the exhibition ‘Mosca-Roma. 2020 Riflessi’ (Moscow-Rome. 2020. Reflections), with the selected works from the winners and participants of the art competition of the same name, which involved 35 art schools in Moscow and 18 art schools in Rome, with a total of 423 works submitted. The winners were three Russian and three Italian art schools.
In the drawings, these young Russian and Italian artists interpret the period of lockdown and the experience of the pandemic that affected the entire world.
The prestigious competition jury, organised by the Italian Embassy in Moscow, consists of Marina Loshak, Director of the Pushkin Museum in Moscow, Teresa Mavica, Director of the Russian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale, Daria Pushkova, Director of the Centro Russo di Scienza e Cultura in Rome, Daniela Rizzi, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of Moscow and Flaminia Giorda, Director at the Italian Ministry of Education.
After Moscow, the exhibition will move to Yekaterinburg, where it will be part of the cultural programme dedicated to the participation of Italy as a partner country in the industrial fair ‘Innoprom-2021’, and then to Rome in the autumn.
