The Italian Cultural Institute of Copenhagen, In collaboration with the Ugo Mulas Archive and the IMF Foundation, presents ‘Denmark 1961‘ , an exhibition dedicated to the work of Ugo Mulas, one of the leading Italian photographers of the second half of the twentieth century.
The exhibition is free and open to the public from 15 June to 20 August, and it traces Ugo Mulas’ work for ‘L’illustrazione italiana’ in the 1960s: a report on Denmark, a country he described as sereno (peaceful), and whose spirit he captured in its most varied aspects, from everyday life to cultural excellence – first of all, design.
