The Italian Cultural Institute of Oslo presents a new leg of the travelling exhibition curated by Ilaria Campioli and Daniele De Luigi “Eyes on Tomorrow.Young Italian Photography in the World”, which can be visited in the Norwegian capital from 11 May to 30 September.
Set up in the outdoor spaces of the Institute, the “Illuminations” series reflects on our way of perceiving the world and redefining the personal and collective boundaries. In the original exhibition display adopted for this project we find the works of Fabrizio Albertini, Luca Marianaccio and Jacopo Valentini. Through apocalyptic visions of futuristic scenarios and landscapes of the familiar space, the photographic journey leads us to reflect on three questions: How to define a space? How to describe a landscape? How to imagine the future?
The project ends with an intervention by Antonio Cataldo, artistic director of Fotogalleriet on the themes of the evolution of the contemporary photographic scenario and on the rising generation of Italian photographers.
