Cinema has no need of great ideas, passionate loves, outrage: it imposes just one daily obligation of making – Federico Fellini
This thought launches the first edition of Fare Cinema, a festival conceived by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with the support of the diplomatic and consular network and Italian Cultural Institutes around the world. A cultural programming space dedicated to reflection on making films, on the extraordinary combination of craftsmanship, creativity and passion that have always distinguished the excellence of the Italian film industry.
This ambitious project, in collaboration with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, is based on a multi-annual strategy and on team work with public and private stakeholders in the film industry, in particular the National Association of Audiovisual and Multimedia Cinematographic Industries (ANICA) and the Istituto Luce-Cinecittà.
Fare Cinema is part of the initiatives envisaged in the integrated promotion plan Vivere ALL’italiana, for which film is one of the priority areas.
