In 2020 too, Fare Cinema focuses on the film professions, aiming to give visibility and prominence to the professional figures who that animate the Italian film industry. The 2020 edition is dedicated to two iconic figures of Italian cinema who are much loved the world over: Federico Fellini and Alberto Sordi for 100th anniversary of both their births.
The 2020 edition is a special free digital edition, thanks to collaboration with RAI, which, during the week from 15 to 21 June, broadcasts on the RaiPlay platform a range of content dedicated to cinema and to the Italian film industry, accessible from all over the world, with subtitles in English, French and Spanish.
In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has created three masterclasses devoted to contemporary Italian film and celebrations of Fellini and Sordi, and a series of video-lessons that reveal the secrets of the profession created directly by screenwriters, producers, documentary makers, composers, casting directors, costume designers and set designers.
