The Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Jakarta present the first edition of the Italian Film Festival in Indonesia. For the first time, Indonesian audiences will be able to see a selection of nine recent films starting from 5 December until 11 December 2021 online on the MyMovies platform.
Thanks to the collaboration with Cinecittà in Rome, it was possible to make this great initiative, where you can enjoy high quality Italian cinema, awarded at the most important international festivals, from ‘Volevo nascondermi‘ by Giorgio Diritti to ‘Padrenostro‘ by Carlo Noce.
The nine films on the program are created by new wave Italian directors and screenwriters, such as Giorgio Diritti, the D’Innocenzo Brothers, Francesco Bruni, Giuseppe Bonito, Claudio Noce, Mauro Mancini, Pietro Castellito, Phaim Bhuiyan, and Edoardo Falcone. Top level actors such as Paola Cortellesi, Piefrancesco Favino, Elio Germano, among others, are starring in these films.
All the films presented are in the original version with English subtitles.
