“Futura” is the project created to support the promotion of Italian music abroad, as a result of the collaboration between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Italia Music Lab foundation. It consists of a music video archive that includes performances by Italian artists who over the past two years have played during the digital editions of many showcase festivals around the world.

Primavera Pro is a special music meeting directed to music industry experts and professionals. It is located in Barcelona and happens concurrently with Primavera Sound Festival. Three Italian artists have participated in showcase gigs at the Primavera Pro 2020 edition: Emmanuelle, an electro-pop cosmopolitan artist, Julielle, poetic and dreamy performer, Qlowski, darkwave and noise-rock band.

Julielle is a self-taught Italian musician. She created an original music project, inspired by her passion for electronics, the Beatles, Edith Piaf and pop music. Her first single “Toys” was selected by Netflix for the Italian film “Caught by a Wave”. Julielle took part in Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg and in Medimex Festival in Taranto, opening up for Cigarettes After Sex show.

Michele Tellarini (vocals and guitars), Cecilia Corapi (vocals and keyboards), Danny Smartt (bass and clarinet), and Christian Billard (drums and percussion) are Qlowski. Their career spans between Bologna and London. The strong punk influences that characterise their music come mainly from this city. In June 2021, they released their first album, Quale Futuro?, produced by Lindsay A. Corstorphine. The result is a post-punk, darkwave noise rock manifesto, capable of conveying the complex musical vision of the group.

Emmanuelle is an enigmatic and alluring artist of Brazilian origins. She takes her inspiration from Rita Lee, the Tom Tom Club, Mina and other English and Italian musicians. Singer and producer, with her catchy songs, she makes the whole Italian clubs dance and fashion houses such as Fendi and Versace, have selected her music for their fashion shows.
