The Italian Cultural Institute of Sydney, in collaboration with Moving Story Entertainment, presents the first edition of the ‘Europa! Europa’ international film festival. The films on the programme come from all over Europe.
Italy will be present with three feature films, co-productions that testify to the vitality of our film industry abroad. They are:
- Io sto bene (Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium, Germany 2020) by director Donato Rotunno
- Europa (Italy, Iraq, Kuwait 2021, in competition) by director Haider Rashid
- The Legionnaire (Italy, France 2021) by director Hleb Papou.
The films are being premièred in Australia. The Festival is taking place simultaneously in Melbourne and Sydney from 4 to 27 February 2022.
