On the occasion of Holocaust Remembrance Day 2022, the Italian Cultural Institute of New York publishes on its YouTube channel the video ‘The Venetian Ghetto: A Restoration Project’, a documentary dedicated to the restoration project of the Venice ghetto, also supported by the World Monument Fund.
In the video, Fabio Finotti takes us on a virtual tour of the ghetto, with particular attention to the sites that will be affected by the restoration. Finotti converses with David Landau (art historian) and Marcella Ansaldi (Director of the Jewish Museum of Venice).
The video is part of the series ‘Stanze italiane’, a web platform of the Italian Cultural Institute of New York that offers to lovers of Italy unpublished contributions on art, literature, music, design, landscape.
