The Museum of Yugoslavia , in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Belgrade , will present the performance of the Serbian cartoonist Aleksandar Zograf together with the Italian musical group ‘Malebolge‘ composed of Federico Galvani (accordion), Luca Zuliani (cello) and Alan Liberale (drums), on 16 April. Zograf will draw comics while the audience follows the details of the making on a big screen. The comic creation will be accompanied by a soundtrack composed for the occasion by the three Italian musicians.
Aleksandar Zograf is a Serbian cartoonist and illustrator who has been active on the international scene since the 90s. His works have been translated into many languages and published in France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Greece, Japan, Portugal.
Federico Galvani is an accordionist who is involved in the recovery of the folk music tradition in the north-eastern area of Italy, linked to the heritage of the Slovenian minority of the Natisone valleys. He has experimented with various musical and cultural models.
Luca Zuliani works as an instrumentalist with major orchestras and chamber ensembles and works with numerous conductors and soloists. From 2007 to 2020 he directed the choir of the Cathedral of Cividale. In 2019 he also started playing the cello.
Alan Liberale made his debut in the world of percussion in 2008 as part of SKA-J, a Venetian band. Since 2020 he has been the drummer for the soulful singer-songwriter Rosa Mussin. As a drum and percussion teacher he holds lessons at the ‘MusicaMia’ music school in Cividale del Friuli.
