On 29 April, the Italian Cultural Institute of Budapest presents concerts by musicians Paolo Angeli, Balázs János and Lukács Miklós.
The avant-garde musician Paolo Angeli, with his unique 18-string guitar, improvises and composes music that lies somewhere between traditional Sardinian music, free jazz, flamenco, Arabic influences, post-folk and other musical genres. He has collaborated with Pat Metheny, Fred Frith, Hamid Drake, Iva Bittova, Antonello Salis, Evan Parker, Takumi Fukushima, Louis Sclavis and Paolo Fresu.
Pianist János Balázs has numerous concerts to his credit, and his talent has been recognized by audiences and critics alike. His virtuosity and high level piano technique are complemented by his ability to engage the audience with his musical performance.
Contemporary music, jazz and world music form a perfect symbiosis in the art of zimbalon musician Miklós Lukács.
The event is being organized as part of the Budapest Spring Festival in cooperation with Budapest Brand.
