On 27 and 28 August, the industrial port of Hvide Sande was transformed into a huge moving stage for ‘Moby Dick’, performed by Teatro dei Venti, which staged the famous story of Captain Ahab and his obsession with the White Whale.
The company, which includes a cast of twenty actors, musicians, acrobats and stagehands, performed for the first time in Denmark, as guests of the UR-NAT International Performance Art Festival. The event was organised by Teatret OM, which works to promote cultural exchange between the local and international communities.
The tour was supported by the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC), the Italian Cultural Institute of Copenhagen and the ATER Fondazione.
