On the occasion of the Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF) 2021, the Italian Cultural Institute of Bucharest presents the ‘Inferno’ cineconcert, a musical project curated by Edison Studio, a collective of Italian artists which creates soundtracks for visual and audiovisual works.
Edison Studio has devoted a brand new soundtrack to ‘Inferno’ (1911), the first Italian feature film in history, presented in a restored edition at TIFF as a tribute to Dante’s anniversary.
The public will thus rediscover the production of Bertolini, Padovan and De Liguoro in a new guise, imbued with dreamlike atmospheres thanks to the reinvention of the vocals involved, the ambient sounds and the surreal soundscapes created by the Italian collective.
