The fourth edition of Fare Cinema coincides with the special edition of the Berlin International Film Festival, the ‘Summer Special‘ which will take place from 9 to 20 June 2021 in the open-air cinemas of Berlin.
The Embassy of Italy in Berlin celebrates the event, and Italy’s future participation as ‘Country in focus’ at Berlinale 2022, with an evening event open to film industry professionals, including Carlo Chatrian, artistic director of the Berlin Festival.
During the event, a preview of a photographic exhibition curated by the Tuscia Film Festival – among the organizers of the Berlin Italian Film Festival – will be presented, with the support of the Italian Cultural Institute of Berlin and the Embassy itself.
The exhibition displays set shots of two productions realised in the Tuscia region: ‘The Young Pope‘ by Paolo Sorrentino and ‘Catch 22‘ by George Clooney. The exhibition will open in October 2021, and will present Italy as an ideal scenario for film shooting.
