The Italian Cultural Institute of Melbourne presents ‘Italian Jazz Ladies‘, a series of three video concerts, performed by some of the best singers on the contemporary Italian jazz scene. The project, which opened in 2021 on the occasion of the Music Festival, is part of the ‘Suoni Italiani Digital Series’ and is freely available online on the Institute’s YouTube channel.

The new format serves the double purpose of presenting the performances of the artists in a live studio recording and of highlighting Italy’s artistic and cultural heritage with the inclusion, in post-production, of suggestive images of the three singers’ respective cities: Rome for Susanna Stivali, Milan for Alice Ricciardi and Bologna for Chiara Pancaldi.

Schedule:

More information on Pancaldi, Ricciardi and Stivali’s performances is available on the Institute’s website.
