The Festival of Italian literature and culture called Italissimo, created in Paris in 2016, leaves the French capital for the first time and lands in Lyon, the first stop of a long tour, with the participation of the Italian Cultural Institute in Lyon.
On Friday, September 24 the Cinema Comœdia will present the movie “Lacci“ by Daniele Luchetti, adapted from the novel of the same title by Domenico Starnone. The screening will be introduced by a video interview with Domenico Starnone and a presentation by Susanna Longo, teacher at the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3.
On Saturday, September 25 it will be the turn of the novelists Claudia Durastanti and Massimo Donati. At 11am, at the Damn Fine Bookstore, they will presente the French translations of their novels “La straniera” and “Giochi cattivi”. In the afternoon, they will a talk about novels for children at the Italian Cultural Institute.
On the same day at 12pm, Antonio Moresco will be at the Decitre bookstore to present “Les ouvertures”, the French translation of his novel “Gli esordi”. At 6:30pm at the Italian Cultural Institute, he will meet his translator Laurent Lombard, and excerpts of the novel will be read by Eric Massé and Etienne Gaudillère.
