On the occasione of Holocaust Remembrance Day 2022, the Italian Cultural Institute of Jakarta is organizing the online conference ‘Memory is like a vaccine against indifference’.

The webinar talks about the memory as the antidote of the oblivion of the conscience and the importance of knowing the differences between cultures. After an introduction by Maria Battaglia, Director of Italian Cultural Institute of Jakarta, speakers will be Gloria Truly Estrelita, Doctoral candidate in history from CASE/EHESS Paris, and Salvatore Cingari, Full Professor of History of Political Thought of University for Foreigners of Perugia.

The webinar will be held on January 27 and will be followed by a virtual screening of the film ‘Un cielo stellato sopra il ghetto romano’ by Giulio Base, which will be available on MyMovies until January 29.
