The Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid and the Círculo de Bellas Artes, under the aegis of the Italian Embassy in Madrid, present on February 6, the jazz concert ‘Le Nuvole di Pier Paolo’, a musical project that aims to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Pier Paolo Pasolini, a great Italian intellectual and one of the creators of European culture. The concert officially opens the ‘Anno Pasolini‘, which includes a wide program of organized activities: conferences, debates and screenings but also shows, music and performances.

The artists will perform at the Teatro Fernando de Rojas del Círculo de Bellas Artes in the following line-up: Emilia Zamuner (voice), Daniele Sepe (saxophone), Flavio Boltro (trumpet), Daniele di Bonaventura (accordion), Jacopo Mezzanotti (guitar and arrangements), Mario Nappi (piano), Davide Costagliola (double bass, bass), Paolo Forlini (drums, percussion).

Produced by Esound Music&Arts, ‘Le Nuvole di Pasolini’ begins in Madrid a journey that will take him on February 9 at the Teatro Victoria Eugenia in San Sebastián, the second stop in Spain.

The event is organized, under the auspices of the Italian Embassy in Madrid, by the Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid, the Círculo de Bellas Artes, the Complutense University of Madrid, the Autonomous University of Madrid with the collaboration of Resad.
