On the occasion of the LEX – Larvik Experimental Music Festival, the Italian Cultural Institute of Oslo presents a retrospective dedicated to the work of Massimo Leardini, a photographer of Italian origin, who has been working in Norway for many years.
The exhibition, entitled ‘Frihet – Libertà‘ (Freedom), can also be interpreted as a commentary on the difficult situation experienced during the months of the pandemic, when amid restrictions and closures, the theme of freedom took on new values and meanings.
The opening evening includes an artist talk with the photographer, a conversation on Thor Heyerdahl, anthropologist, director and writer, and a conversation on Antonio Bibalo, an Italian-Norwegian pianist.
